Essay 2
April. 9, 2007
My dear lady, imagine we are in charge of time that every second could be prolonged into an hour, imagine we are blessed with the power to rest in still where flowers won’t fade and seasons won’t change. Let me talk of summer time with tenderness and count the stars on the misty air for you.
Just if we had enough time, my fair lady, you could turn your head away from my passionate eyesight and hide away from my flaming soul. For I know, my lady, the love for you in my spirit always too much, too heavy to bear that turn to be sharp enough to do harm.
And you my dear, is the sweetest moonlight in the coldest winter night and the exquisite dew on the morning grass that shiver bashfully with coyness and fear. Oh if we had enough time, my lady, this coyness is welcomed and allowed.
Immersed by unexpendable time, we would sit ourselves in the eternity, slowly thinking of which day to talk, which day to share our secret and which place to walk and pass our long love’s day. Let us play the love game on Indian ganges’ side and let me spend several decades and centuries praising each part you my dear. From the Flood to the Jew my love should grow bigger than an empire and slower than eternity.
Just if we had enough time.
But my dear you know the truth, we will never take the place of God and can’t help but fall slave to the oppression of time.
Time, our biggest enemy had opened its mouth, the mouth as a bottomless black hole that ready to swallow whole and is running after us almost relentlessly.
It will get us both if your coyness allow it to. Seasons change and all the fruits of summer fades, it’s impossible to stay unchanging as the sea.
My dear lady, don’t be frightened, but all your treasures would be forgotten and abandoned in the vast desert of time. In that desolate territory of desolation, nor beauty or youth are found. The virginity you long preserved and all your lovely honors turned to dust that all my lust would tragically turn cold into lifeless ashes.
Oh grave would be the terminal station for us to stay, a fine secret place to rest but no one will embrace. So don’t torture me my fair lady, or you had decided to witness my deepest desire and painful spirit tore into pieces.
Now we are still young and quite innocent, the flaming power of youth still covers our skin like the morning dew slightly comforts the grass. Its power defends us from the bitter harm of time. And we are still allowed to have a journey my love.
Let us fly away like birds with freedom and the wings of love then flee from time—the ravenous predator. Never think of future and never resist or turn back for our spirits have hopelessly become one. Together we can create our Eden.
My Eve, I see through your soul like crystal water. Don’t be afraid to be seen through because I belong to you.
Give me your strength, desert all your coyness and surrender to my affection, give me all your sweetness and look at me, the great pleasure of pure love already await. Let us walk through the iron gates of life together. We can not stop the time from running nor the bitter sun will stop for us, but when our empire are built, it will makes the sun run for us!
